If you are a Christian, you may think these are modern concepts that arised with Christianity.
But it is not. Even from ancient times people believed there is a different realm other than the physical.
You can completely dismiss this as mass delusion. But have you looked into it?
What is the psychology of those who claim so?
Whenever a person is having a religious experience, the so-called "psychologist" is going to dismiss it as merely psychological.
I mean, Jesus answered your prayer when you were 3 years old, like out of the blue in a vision.
How do you explain that?
First of all, the person is not remembering what he prayed when he was 3 years old. The explanation can be that it resurfaced into the mind. How come it came into the mind that he has completely forgotten? And Jesus reminds him and wants to answer that.
Let us say you are a Christian and were brought up in that religious setting. What about the people who don't know Jesus?
Jesus is appearing to all those people who don't know him. When was the last time some historical figure appeared to you not once or twice but for many months? It happened. It is happening all over Iran.
Jesus has the worst timing when you look through a materialist perspective. But through Christian eyes, he acts in the right moment when that person needed it most. That is what drives him through the right path. Ok, let's not go off on a tangent.
How do you explain that?
Only true Christians will understand it. They are like people with alien encounters.
Once you have that, nobody is going to believe you. That is the truth. The person can be a Hindu, Christian, or Muslim. It has nothing to do with the culture in which the person is brought up.
