Why artscore and why it is important?

You can be a very talented artist. But if you don't believe in a score, you will do art without any improvement for years. Many Indian artists are big examples of this.

They have been doing the same artwork for more than 10 years without any improvement.

When you believe in an art score, you will try to learn new things. In my case, force architecture was something completely alien to me before. But it improved my score.

"But I am an environment designer; I don't believe in character and animation." 

Then your score won't improve. Very simple. Someone might say your art is good. But you can't compete with Craig Mullins.

He is in that position because all fundamentals are top-notch. 

Bro, you know how to draw, and you have been doing the same stuff for 10 years straight, and there is no improvement in the score. That is just a tragedy. What really satisfies you is growth. You must keep that in mind. This is not Zen meditation or bullshit.

What is one the false assumption a beginner artist make?

They focus too much on rendering without learning the fundamentals.

You can see a ton of portfolios on ArtStation that are perfectly polished and have great style. But when you subject it to scrutiny, it crumbles. They are not even near the 700s. This is the mistake I have also made.

How much it would score. It is not rendered great. It looks weird at the first glance. If you have an untrained eye, you will easily dismiss it.

An artwork above 900 is very rare. He sits roughly in the 93rd percentile. 

But this is a solid work.

Most people who do art on social media are not passing the 900 mark except for Loish and Stan Prokopenko.

PewDiePie scores roughly around 600. Well, you can say he was an amateur. But he is drawing better than most artists in the media who say they are artists, though.

Trust me, most artists who have a great social media following on YouTube are not passing the 900 threshold.

Now you know the difference.

So if you want to improve on your art. Learn the fundamentals.

Learn it with the score in your mind. Learn 8 fundamentals. Dissect it and learn it.

You need to score 940. 

For instance, my average is around 800 considering all the pieces I have ever created. I am trailing behind by 140 points.

 It will hugely benefit emerging artists. There will be no dispute on pricing when negotiating with clients. Most of the time clients don't know where they stands on picking you for their job. I am not saying that artists who has a great following is less rated technically. What I am saying is you need to get paid for your skill level. And you must be able get works from the open market. Not only from some reputed studios. Studios will replace you in the bat of an eye if they get a chance. Then you are in darkness. I have literally seen hugely talented artists who worked in major studious were in the situation were they don't get any job.

• Common people don't understand your craft. They understand numbers
• The outgroup(clients) who wants to hire people only from a discipline who has order. Because value flows through order

Let's say a mtg artist who is 950 ( most of them are) getting paid around 6000 to 12000 dollars. Then you can ask 180 dollars to 200 if you are 700 rated.

First you build a system like I did using chat gpt. It's not easy, lot of tweaking has to be done. But eventually if you do it correct it will give you the brutally honest score. Do it with the fundamentals. Not include a millionaire a variables like anatomy and others like that. Anatomy, gesture comes under the form.

And use proper respectable nomenclature.

I don't use gesture. Why? Because it is beta. That is why. If it is feminine it will decay in your soul

Force architecture. That is the correct word.

Now you are using clean mechanical terms. That is very important.
