No.
I had a lot of dark thoughts. Really dark, like I can't live with it. I was really suffering with that.
When I came to Christ, it was all gone.
It is not normal.
I have recently heard a podcast in which a criminal psychologist, Julia Shaw, mentioned fleeting thoughts are normal and happen to all humans.
I differ on this.
If you walk with Christ, then that is not normal.
Most of the time now I am bored, and boredom in this day and age is a valuable commodity. People just underestimate it.
This unhealthy thing called intrusive thought has become so common that it has become a cultural phenomenon. It is totally unhealthy, and there is no point in beating around the bush and not admitting you do not have a sound mind. And only Christ can give you a sound mind.
Why is that?
Because there is a lot of information outside your grasp. You are like a radio receiving signals. If you are not tuned to a specific frequency, most of the time you receive noise. Through noise come the demons.
Are you an artist who wants to draw? Then that should be the only thing you must be concerned about. But there are a lot of spiritual attacks going on in your territory. You can't defend that alone. You need protection from somebody who knows things.
"I think I can handle it."
You bought a new bike. Something went wrong. Are you able to understand the mechanics of it and handle it?
You bought a new phone, and the same thing happened. You know nothing about the mechanics inside.
You do all the other things in this world likewise, but when it comes to the matters of your soul, you do it otherwise. Is that wise? Or you being just a fool
Son, listen to me.
Your ego is just ignorance manifesting as pride. It is a falsehood.
Christ can do it. He is the mechanic.
Consider my older vehicle. It wanted to go at a high speed. But I know if it goes at that speed, it may go 1 km at that speed; after that, it will never move an inch. I know that. The vehicle doesn't. So I ride it at very low speed. Change the oil and check the engine at regular intervals, and when it gets better, I ride it at a high speed. You are like that vehicle. God knows what is best for you. You must submit your WILL to him. That is what you have. WILL.
OK. God bless
