Which is the most horrifying painting and what made it so? part 3

 We were discussing about Henry fuseli's "The nightmare" If you don't have a clue about what I am talking about right now in here please go to the left side and in the search for topics section click art analysis and read the entire thing..

Ok back to the painting. Here it is. The image is flipped now


We can see that the sheets appear like wings and the Woman seems like completely gutted out in the bottom half. That will be an extreme take on this piece. But nevertheless, fits with the narrative of what he is trying to portray.

If we are introducing a dynamic grid into this painting there will be more meaning to this. We will do that with another blog post.
